Lately, I’ve been completely obsessed with reading about the Mars One project, whose goal is to send humans to live on Mars in 2023. I’ve talked about my fondness for outer space before, but with all of the buzz around Mars One, space has been on my mind even more than usual. The truth is, if I was single, and my parents weren’t still alive, I think I would apply to go to Mars. It would be the most amazing and terrifying experience, and I’d be all about it. The inability to ever see my husband and parents again though will keep me planted here on Earth.
Since I won’t be gracing Mars with my presence, I’ve searched Etsy high and low for some fun space themed jewelry that will have to do instead.
1. Shooting star earrings, $22
2. Big dipper necklace, $45
3. Asteroid necklace, $93.88
4. Astronaut necklace, $25
5. Full moon ring, $10.50
6. Meteorite necklace, $42
7. Space shuttle necklace, $28.88
8. Nebula earrings, $13.90
Any fellow space nerds out there?

I love all of these. I’m really into galaxy/astronomy-themed stuff, so these look awesome!

Ashley, I’m a serious space nerd! I can’t deny that I’ve read Stephen Hawking’s book, “A Brief History of Time” before because I just can’t get enough!

I am a total space nerd – and so is my husband! In fact, on our honeymoon, we went to Disney, but made a day trip to the Kennedy Space Center in Cape Canaveral for a tour (and went back again last year)!
I’m a new follower – found you from your recipe on Erin’s blog, and I had to click because you were in a Roethlisberger jersey … and I am a HUGE Steelers fan! 🙂
