Life-LatelyHow about an easy post for this Friday? Hope you all have a great weekend!

reading: Big Little Lies by Liane Moriarty. I really, really like it, but I have almost no motivation to read it for some reason. Every time I make myself pick it up though, I get sucked in, and I wonder why I haven’t finished it already. Strange.

missing: Being able to do regular recipe posts. As soon as we’re back in our house, I’ll be posting recipes about twice a week again, but in the apartment, we have very limited cooking utensils and almost no cooking/baking staples like flour, sugar, etc. We’re trying to really limit what we buy while we’re at the apartment because the more we buy, the more we’ll have to pack up and move when the house is ready.

wishing: That the start of football season wasn’t so far away. For now, I’m counting down to the start of free agency, the schedule release, and the draft in the next few months.

loving: That we’ve been getting some snow in North Carolina! We got a decent amount on Monday night, and a little bit more on Wednesday night. It doesn’t feel like winter until we get our first real snow storm, and I was starting to worry that it might not happen this year, but luckily Raleigh didn’t let me down.

learning: About Spotify. Yes, I’m like 5 years behind on this, but I started using it on Wednesday, and it’s kind of awesome! I’ve already found some great new stuff to listen to, and I love it.

thinking about: Marketing for Ashley Nevis Prints, and how I can keep people coming to the site and ordering fun prints from it. Anyone have some helpful marketing tips/books to read/etc?

needing: To pick out things like curtains, throw pillows, and coasters for our house. It was easy to pick replacement furniture, but it’s been hard for me to decide on the little things.

watching: The Staircase. I’d read that this was an amazing documentary, so TJ and I started watching it a couple nights ago and were surprised to see that it actually takes place in Durham. It’s an 8-part documentary, and it is completely fascinating. I can’t wait to see how it all ends.

looking forward to: Moving back into our house! We stopped by yesterday, and they were putting up all the crown molding, which was exciting to see. Hopefully they’ll start painting soon, then the floors will be put in, and then we should be able to move back in shortly after that. We haven’t yet heard of a possible move-in date, but I have hopes that it will be sooner rather than later.

What are you most looking forward to this weekend? Have you watched The Staircase?

I haven’t heard about The Staircase before. I hope you’ll write a review post so I can decide whether to watch it or not, pretty please? 🙂
