Weekend Snapshot

WS-chalkboardMan, this weekend really flew by. Last night, around 5pm, I turned to TJ and said, “doesn’t it kind of feel like it should only be Saturday night and not Sunday?” Even though it went quickly, it sure was a good one. We had dinner with my parents, went to the movies, did some “window shopping” for houses (aka went to look at some new houses, even though we’re not quite ready to buy another place), and I started working on a new project…

I feel like such a cliche blogger saying this, but for as long as I can remember, I’ve wanted to write a book. It’s a big, daunting task, and I’m not sure if I’m cut out for it, but this weekend I took a big step and I finally started. Who knows what will come from it, but at least now I can say that I’m trying.

1. New month, new pretty calendar page.
2. Saturday afternoon date to see Non-Stop – we liked it!
3. Taby decided to help me do a little writing on Sunday afternoon. If the book goes anywhere, I guess she’ll be getting royalties.
4. I was intrigued by this “ice cream” with only 150 calories for the whole pint, or 38 for a regular serving size. The verdict: they nailed the texture, but I’m not totally crazy about the strawberry flavor. I’d try another flavor for sure though.

I want to hear about your weekend!

Your weekend sounds so fun but yet relaxing. I love that calendar, it is so pretty! It’s hopeful thinking that the weather might get better here in Cleveland. That ice cream looks amazing and the fact that it has so little calories makes it even better. Did it taste good too? I just posted about my weekend on Boarding Together, check it out!

Looks like you had a great weekend. Ours was lazy (but much needed after working crazy hours!). Love that calendar, by the way. So pretty!
