Christmas is a week from today. I can’t even believe it. Doesn’t it seem like it’s still kind of March? It’s been a while since I’ve done a DIY project, and today I’m excited to share an incredibly simple way to display holiday cards from your friends and family. You only need 3 items and 10 minutes to put it all together. Even with the craziness of the holiday season, we can all spare 10 minutes for a little project, right?
supplies:
4 nails
6 ft of baker’s twine, cut into 2 3ft pieces
mini-clothespins (I found mine at AC Moore)
instructions:
Hammer a nail into the display wall and tie the end of one piece of twine securely around the nail.
Loosely stretch the string across the length of the wall, and hammer in the second nail. Repeat with the remaining nails and string, about 1 ft below the first string. Use the clothespins to hang the cards.
Merry Christmas!
TJ’s mom hand-stitched that card – amazing, right?
Honestly, I think we’ll keep this up year-round to display little cards and notes that come our way throughout the year.
