It’s time for the August edition of TJ Takes Over, where (shockingly) TJ takes over the blog post and takes some of the heavy lifting off of me. Before he dives in with his recipe though, I have a few comments.
Not surprisingly, I’m the one who does most of the cooking in the house (happily!), but there are some things that TJ just knocks out of the park. I’ve raved about his hashbrowns before, but he refuses to give the recipe even to me, so I knew that there would be no chance that he’d write about it here. Guacamole is another one of his specialties, so that’s what he’s sharing today. I guarantee that you can make it successfully, even if don’t know anything about cooking.
Hey guys, TJ here. I’m excited to share this recipe today, but you should know that I do things a little differently than Ashley does. Like, I don’t really measure things. I just add stuff until it looks right, and if it tastes good, then I call it done. So, there aren’t really exact amounts listed below, but don’t sweat it – just add the ingredients until it looks right.
ingredients:
1 avocado
chopped cilantro
pico de gallo (you can just buy a pre-made package of it at the store)
lime juice (about half a lime)
instructions:
Throw all of the ingredients in a bowl and use a fork to mash it all up.
(Ashley here) If you want to make this more homemade, try it with my homemade pico de gallo!
