Homemade French Bread Pizza

There are times when I’m perfectly content to spend the whole day in the kitchen, making all kinds of elaborate and involved recipes. And there are other times, when just the thought of doing much more than turning on the stove makes me tired. This incredibly easy French bread pizza is perfect for those latter days. You can easily customize each one for different family members, and the effort you have to put into making them is minimal. 


1 French bread loaf, cut in half lengthwise
pizza sauce
mozzarella cheese
Italian seasoning, to taste
desired toppings (we like pepperoni and mushrooms)

Toast the French bread in the oven at 350 for 5-7 minutes. This will ensure that the bread does not get soggy.

Top the bread as desired.

Bake for another 10 minutes, until the cheese is melted. You can broil it for the last few minutes to get the pizza extra crispy.

Cut into pieces, and enjoy!
