Happy 3-day weekend, you guys! I have been counting down to this weekend since our Christmas vacation. There’s just something so nice about having an extra day attached to the weekend. Funny story – last Memorial Day, a maxi dress caused me to fracture my nose. What??? Maybe I’ll tell that full story tomorrow 🙂
Right now though, I’ve got my final (maybe, no promises) Arrested Development themed post before the big premiere on Sunday. There’s always money in the banana stand, right? That’s why I wanted to celebrate the new season with a snack that George Sr himself would be proud of – frozen banana bites! I like these better than regular frozen bananas because 1) I might be the only person in the world who doesn’t really like popsicles, and that’s what they remind me of in stick form, and 2) because these have pretzels on them, of course.
Makes about 15 bites
Â
ingredients:
3 bananas
chocolate covered pretzels (I used 4 100 calorie packs)
peanut butter
instructions:
Slice each banana into bite-size pieces, and spread out the pretzels.
Chop the pretzels into small pieces.
Spread each banana piece with peanut butter.
Roll each banana piece in the pretzels and freeze for about 2 hours.
Enjoy, while watching season 4 of Arrested Development!
