I’m completely in love with the month of October, and I always have been. Part of it is because I was born this month, so October will always have a wonderful and special place in my heart. I really believe that these are some of the very best days of the year. I love the cool mornings and nights, wearing scarfs, the crunch of leaves under my shoes, and carving pumpkins. There’s just nothing I don’t love about October.
Things I’m looking forward to in October:
-Celebrating my birthday
-Decorating pumpkins for our front steps
-Going to the North Carolina State Fair
-The increasingly colder weather
quotable:
โOctober is crisp days and cool nights, a time to curl up around the dancing flames and sink into a good book.โ John Sinor

I’m starting to get jealous of people that get fun Fall’s.. I was literally laying out by the pool yesterday and had to go inside after 30 minutes because it was too hot!! Can you send some crunchy, beautiful fall leaves my way!? Oh and cross your fingers that it get cooler here by Halloween, at least!

I always wanted an October birthday. At least I can celebrate my half birthday this month! ๐
I love everything you listed except for the cold weather. I just want it to stay in the 70s throughout the winter!

Love Broken Bells! And October, of course. Growing up, I hated fall/winter (they mesh as one down here in TX) and was all about summer, but I love it now! Hopefully it cools down here soon!
