I mentioned on Friday that TJ and I had a little adventure planned for the weekend, and I’m so excited to share about it today! (I also said I’d be back to talk about it yesterday, but oops, life happened and I’m here today instead.) So, what was our little adventure? We rented an RV for the weekend, and did our version of camping.
We’ve done this once before, about a year and a half ago, and we’ve been talking about doing it again for a while now. It was so much fun to spend 3 days together, exploring a new part of our area, (mostly) without access to the internet. It was the perfect way to recharge, and we both agreed that we have to do it at least once a year from now on.

Ha! The best entertainment of all – taking selfies that turn out like this.
After we turned the RV back in, we went to Denny’s for brunch and recreated a scene from Breaking Bad. It was the perfect ending to a fantastic weekend!

Umm… I love this! why have I never thought to rent an RV?! We camped in tents last year and while it was fun, it wasn’t ideal. Hmm…. thanks for the ideas! I also love the no internet, etc. Joe and I always get away for the weekend at least three times a year, but we still have internet or data so we still check our phones a lot.

My fiance’s parents have a fifth-wheel trailer, and we met them down in Pismo Beach this past weekend to do a little camping at an RV park. It was so much fun! We’ve decided we need to borrow their fifth-wheel in the future and take little adventures. 🙂

oh my goodness, we bought a camper last summer and absolutely love it! I’ve seen these RV’s that you can rent and I’ve thought it was so cool; however, if you just totally LOVED it, you should get one! lol. that’s just my opinion. haha. looks like y’all had a lot of fun! there’s something about the open road with the one you love!
