I eat my chicken strips with ranch dressing, because I’m 12
Sometimes, you just need comfort food – it’s a simple fact of life. To me, the ultimate comfort food comes in the form of chicken strips, but that doesn’t mean I want to indulge in a deep fried meal. These baked chicken strips are still wonderfully crispy, without the aspect of deep frying. That makes them absolutely perfect for a comfort food kind of night.
Serves 2
ingredients:
2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
2/3 cup Bisquick mix
1/2 cup Parmesan cheese
1/2 tsp garlic salt
1/2 paprika
1 egg, beaten
2 tbsp butter, melted
instructions:
Cut the chicken breasts into several strips.
In a large plastic bag, combine the Bisquick mix, cheese, garlic salt, and paprika.
Dip each chicken strip in the egg, and then in the Bisquick mixture, and place on a greased, foiled lined baking sheet.
Drizzle the butter over the chicken, and bake at 450 for about 12 minutes, or until the center is no longer pink, turning halfway through.
Enjoy!
