Weekend Snapshot (plus an announcement!)

WS-chalkboardHappy Monday! I have a shorter than usual weekend snapshot post this week (mostly because we just really didn’t do much this weekend, and it was awesome). Before I get to our weekend though, I have an exciting announcement about this week on the blog…

…drumroll…

Super Bowl Week

Tomorrow officially kicks off Super Bowl Week here on Rainstorms and Love Notes! All week I’ll be coming at you with game day recipes and a fun game to play on the big day. Super Bowl Sunday is my favorite holiday of the year, and I’m looking forward to getting prepped for it all week. I hope you guys are excited!

Now, here’s a little peek at what we were up to this weekend.
Collage 1-25
1. TJ and I were on a major 90s kick all of Friday night, and we spent some time rocking out to this little gem of a song.
2. Owen has been extra cuddly lately, and I love it.
3. What’s the best way to use up buttermilk before it goes bad? Make a batch of homemade ice cream, of course! I made this strawberry recipe.
4. I finally got myself in gear and did some hardcore meal planning. We now have our Monday-Friday meals planned out through March 24, and they’re all conveniently located on a Google calendar. This kind of planning feels good!

As always, I’d love to hear about your weekend!

Thanks, Alex! I took a little time up front, but now our weeknights are so much easier. Not to mention, now that I have a plan, I only have to go to the grocery once a week instead of 4 times, like I had been doing, haha.
