DIY: Christmas Card Holder

2013-12-17-010-edited-withtext Christmas is a week from today. I can’t even believe it. Doesn’t it seem like it’s still kind of March? It’s been a while since I’ve done a DIY project, and today I’m excited to share an incredibly simple way to display holiday cards from your friends and family. You only need 3 items and 10 minutes to put it all together. Even with the craziness of the holiday season, we can all spare 10 minutes for a little project, right?

supplies:
4 nails
6 ft of baker’s twine, cut into 2 3ft pieces
mini-clothespins (I found mine at AC Moore)

instructions:
Hammer a nail into the display wall and tie the end of one piece of twine securely around the nail. 2013-12-15-064-edited

Loosely stretch the string across the length of the wall, and hammer in the second nail. Repeat with the remaining nails and string, about 1 ft below the first string. Use the clothespins to hang the cards. 2013-12-17-002-edited 2013-12-15-061-edited

Merry Christmas!
