DIY: Fall Wreath

I mentioned in my Fall Bucket List that I wanted to make a fall wreath, so this weekend, that’s exactly what I did! This wreath is really about as easy as can be, (which is exactly how I like my crafts), and my favorite thing about it is that it’s versatile enough to leave up through Thanksgiving. Hit up your local AC Moore or Michael’s and make one with me?

supplies:
1 14 inch straw wreath
Roll of burlap
3 flat pushpins
Assorted fake fall leaves
Wooden block letter
Dark brown acrylic paint
Paintbrush
Glue gun
Wreath holder

instructions:
Use two pushpins to secure the end of the burlap to the back of the wreath, and wrap the burlap around it.

Once you’ve finished wrapping the wreath, use the last pushpin to secure it.

Use the hot glue gun to secure the leaves to a small section of the wreath.

Paint the block letter with the brown paint, and allow to dry completely.

Once the letter has dried, use the hot glue gun to secure the letter to the leaves. Hang, and enjoy fall!
